Private sessions and classes can be conducted in studios, offices, as well as the comfort of private homes (including by telephone and internet phone communication). Whatever is convenient to get you practicing your optimal health, I will meet you where you are at! The movement portion can include: Yoga asana (postures) and other stretching, cardiovascular and strength training. The practice may also incorporate breathing and meditation exercises with attention, of course, to diet and nutrition. What will be included is based on the needs and desires of each specific person.
Individual Sessions: For this we meet one on one and develop an appropriate practice. We look at your goals and I facilitate from there. Generally the first session will need an hour and a half and how often we meet is based again on the need of each individual. Some folks meet weekly, others once or twice a month, and still others twice a year. Couples sessions are also encouraged. We can make this up as we go!!!
Classes: These can be based on whatever the group would like to learn or experience. Classes can be variations of Yoga, which can include Pranayama (breath work) and meditation, exercise classes (including classes on the ball), as well as health and stress management focused sessions. We always “check in” in the beginning of class to see where everyone is at and base the class on the majority without losing the individual detail. THIS INCLUDES FAMILY AND KIDS CLASSES! I keep the classes smaller (up to 15 people) to promote a deeper experience with as strong or as therapeutic an approach as needed (including outdoor classes!)
Locations: I offer individual private sessions, telephone, and online support in the comfort of your own home and at your convenience. I teach Yoga, exercise, health, and stress management classes at offices, schools/studios (we added Limber Yoga at www.limberyoga.com and Center Studio at www.whitecenterstudio.com), and private homes.
Individual Sessions and Classes up to 15 people (including phone or Skype sessions):
$80/hour and $50/half hour (In West Seattle)
$95/hour and $65/half hour (Out of West Seattle*)
*there may be an additional charge if commute takes over 20 minutes
